Project Overview

The NIWA Itumbi project centers on Primary Mining Licence PML104082/SWZ, covering 7.63 hectares in the prospective Itumbi area of Chunya District, Mbeya Region, one of Tanzania’s top gold-producing zones (district output ~300 kg/month recently, with 3.9 tonnes in 2024/25).
Aeromagnetic survey data, mapped directly from the adjacent producing Gold Mine, shows strong magnetic anomalies (high-intensity orange/red zones) associated with iron-rich structures typical of orogenic gold veins in the Lupa Goldfields.

Executive Technical Information

Geological Assessment: Highlights include:
• Clear northwest vein strike continuity from active an Gold Mine extending into PML104082/SWZ.
• Priority target marked (★) along the key northwest structure within our license.
• Proximity to an established producing operation confirms geological favorability and reduces exploration risk.
Extraction Methods:  Underground mining.
Environmental Considerations: Compliance with environmental regulations is a priority.
